| Lanny Lancaster, Executive Director of Three Oaks Center, in Lexington Park recounts a story of how one Thanksgiving, shortly after he began working at the shelter, a man came to the door with a ham. Wondering why this person would not walk through the unlocked shelter doors, Lancaster went to the door to open it. Now, closer to the man, he could clearly see a tear running down his cheek.
